 The nonprofit and private Institute ofHigher Education of Deylaman –Lahijan was established in the year 1384 by a founding board comprised of some of the university professors of the country.

 The members of the founding board are: Dr. Kazem Memarzia, Dr.Gholamhossein Memarian, Dr.Seyyed Bagher Hoseini, Dr. Seyyed Mahdi Ghoreshi and Dr. Jamal Khani Jazni.

 The founding board, with gratitude to Dr. Muhammad Ali Mojtahedi for his services to the higher education in Iran, has established this institute in the city of Lahijan which is the home town of Dr. Muhammad Ali Mojtahedi.

 The nonprofit and private Institute ofHigher Education Deylaman –Lahijan was inaugurated in the year 1384 in Lahijan, located in the province of Gilan.

Since its opening, this institute has accepted students in the associate degree  program and  undergraduate degree  program through the national entry examination (known as konkur)  of universities  and higher education institutes in the centered majors of : architecture, civil engineering, agricultural engineering in the sub-discipline of plant pathology, electricalengineering in the sub-discipline of electronics, and business  management andaccounting.

 The capacity, acceptance limits,tuitionpayments value and other information are presented to the college applicants every year in the Sanjesh Organization guidebook.

 The Institute Outlook

The nonprofit and private Institute ofHigher Education of Deylaman is determined to have a key role in the production of knowledge in the entire Gilan province and to propound itself as one of the important institutes in the country by expanding its quantitative and qualitative standards. We, in the Deylaman Institute, have  shaped  this institute’s prospect  regarding  its upgrade  to   a well-known college  byemphasizing on meritocracy and  specialty–centering  and using of the public wisdom  to  have the ability  of knowledge production and  the ability of  converting  science  to wealth, introducing capable graduates and managers and worthy engineers to the scientific and executivestructure  of this country.

Establishment: 1384 in the city of Lahijan

Purpose: Emphasis on specialty–centering, increment of the knowledge production, converting science to wealth, educating capable graduates and managers and worthy and committed engineers to the scientific and executivestructure of this country

 Available majors : Associate degree and  Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Associate degree and  discontinuous Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Associate degree in Computer Science,discontinuous and continuous Bachelor's degree in Electronics ,continuous Bachelor's degree in plant pathology ,discontinuous Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Associate degree in Accounting.

New majors to be introduced in the month of Mehr, 1391: Master's degree in Architecture  and  Civil Engineering,discontinuous Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,continuous Bachelor's degree in IT and continuous Associate degree in Graphics.

Number of Current Students: 1500

Number of Official and Contractual Faculty: 18 people as full professors, associate professors, assistant professors, lecturers

Number of Adjunct Professors: Around 75 people with different ranks

Number of Students who got accepted to higher degree programs in various universities in the country:

64 from undergraduate to graduate level program

623 from Associate degree program to undergraduate program

Educational and Laboratory Facilities: 14 class rooms, 5 Architecture ateliers, Electrical Lab, Plant Pathology Laboratory, wood workshops, concrete laboratory, two computer sites with more than 70 computers, a library and a studyinghall with over… books and research publications, and a student thesis archive, all equipped withwireless internet in the lobby of the Institute.

Student Facilities: Student loans to 1633 students, sending 29 students to the Holy Pilgrimage in Mecca,  sending students to the holy land of defense and Rahian Noor, football team establishment and holding various competitions and games and a variety of scientific and student visits.


Scientific and Cultural Facilities: Two praying rooms for holding religious ceremonies, establishment of the  student Basij, establishment  of a counseling  office for women , establishment of the ScientificAssociation of Architectural and Civil Engineering,  holding Ethics and  Trade Conference and holding  Architecture exhibits.
